Chuck Macaluso 65.6S GR Trumpet Mouthpiece
• Chuck Macaluso rim contour: this rim has a very comfortable feel, with a flatter contour than the GR Standard rim. Coupled with the medium alpha angle and medium sharp bite, this rim also allows for very quick attacks and more lip room. An ideal rim for the commercial player who wants more chop room, cleaner attacks, and a fatter sound than most conventional commercial mouthpieces allow.
• .656" rim diameter, approximately equivalent to a Bach 5
• S cup: The versatile GR S cup can be used in varied musical situations. The sound is big and brilliant. Projection is excellent. The backbore is the GR #1, with good core to the sound. The S cup volume is small, though it has ample lip room for most players. This is an ideal solution to those who bottom out on conventional commercial cups. The alpha angle is not too high and does not impinge the lips; furthermore, it has the ability to lightly grip and keeps the lips held into place for great endurance. This cup is great for lead, show work, studio work, and all-around playing.

B65.6S GR Trumpet Mouthpiece
• Paul Butcher "B" rim contour: similar to the GR Standard rim but with the highpoint slightly closer to the bite and a slightly sharper bite. This popular rim features a secure comfortable grip and crisp articulations. Ideal for players who like to feel the secure grip of the rim which aids their attacks, flexibilities, and endurance. Standard on the B65.6S, 65.6MS, 65.6M, 65.6*M2+, 65.6C.
• .656" rim diameter, approximately equivalent to a Bach 5
• Paul Butcher custom S cup: this is a small volume cup which features a medium high alpha angle. This provides added chop room in the top of the cup which will aid players who usually "bottom out" on most smaller volume cups. The sound from this mouthpiece is enormous and fat throughout the entire range of the horn. The upper register is incredibly easy and centered. The lower register is very full and fat. A popular choice for 14A4a players who are looking to improve all aspects of their performance. This rim is slightly flatter and wider than the GR standard.

• MS cup: has a slightly lower alpha angle, greater cup volume, a slight increase in cup depth, and a larger backbore---the GR #2---than the S cup. This is a great all-around cup with a huge, brilliant sound. The added volume and a slightly lower alpha angle give the player more lip room: an ideal solution for players who find that the GR S cup is a bit tight for them. The sound is big and full with an excellent core. It has less edge than the S cup and works well in all playing situations.

65.6C GR Trumpet Mouthpiece
• Paul Butcher "B" rim contour: similar to the GR Standard rim but with the highpoint slightly closer to the bite and a slightly sharper bite. This popular rim features a secure comfortable grip and crisp articulations. Ideal for players who like to feel the secure grip of the rim which aids their attacks, flexibilities, and endurance. • C cup: all three C series cups (C*, C**, and C) have the same rim, alpha angle, L1, and 1st cup radius (R1), to accommodate switching between Bb, C, and D/Eb, and other playing requirements. The C cups feature the GR Symphonic blank, Standard rims, and GR #3 backbore. The C has a more open throat entrance than the C* and C**; it requires a strong player. The C design features a high alpha angle (similar to M cup), a large cup volume, very open throat entrance, and huge orchestral sound. The design allows for added lip support and efficient playing characteristics. The C is a very powerful cup that has a great volume of sound, good articulation, and excellent projection. It is the preferred choice for the orchestra, as well as for very powerful players requiring a more efficient alpha angle.
