.547" bore, 8½" 22-gauge bell. All Custom Series Tenor Trombones come with three interchangeable leadpipes to enable the player to further customize the response of the instrument to meet any need.
Axial flow valves have revolutionized the playing of the F attachment on the trombone. The operation of the valve keeps the air column entering the attachment relatively straight. This makes playing through the attachment much like playing through an open horn. Getzen high performance axial flow valves are smooth, quiet and easy to maintain.
Yellow brass bells support powerful playing and high dynamic volume; red brass bells are ideal for players interested in nuances of tone and richer sound at low dynamic levels, but they reach "red line" limits at high dynamic levels sooner than yellow brass.
