It is now six years since the first Challenger trumpets were produced at Vogtländische Musikinstrumentenfabrik. That is a very short time in comparison with the long centuries of instrument-making tradition of the Vogtland region of Saxony. The exceptional achievement of producing a complete range of instruments within just five years, which finds the enthusiastic approval of musicians across the world, is still unparalleled.

The Challenger series has been renamed. The Challenger I is now "Standard Professional" and the Challenger II is now "Custom Professional".\

B&S X-Series Artist Signature DBX Bb Trumpet

All DX line instruments feature a large bore valve section, a newly designed matching reversed leadpipe and an additional bell. Due to its unique screw bracing the DX Line offers an even more rapid response and vibrancy of sound. The second bell with a traditional round bell rim in gold brass offers a warm orchestral sound. The combination of two bells gives the versatility for orchestra, chamber music or even big band use.

B&S X-Series Artist Signature eXquisite Bb Trumpet

The new eXquisite Bb results from the association of B&S and L.A. studio recording artist Malcolm McNab, whose film score credits include the solo trumpet parts for Dances with Wolves, Independence Day, Men in Black, Pretty Woman, Indiana Jones, E.T. and L.A. Confidential.

His CD "Exquisite," featuring Tsiolkovsky's violin concerto on trumpet, is legendary already, soon after its release.
